The 64 acre site in Goshen, Kentucky, is 22 miles northeast of downtown Louisville. Unique architecture includes small amphitheaters in each wing of the school and several raised classrooms called "pods."

Applicants for Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten and first grade - one recommendation.
Applicants for grades two through eight - two recommendations, one of which
must be from the applicant's current teacher

ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE
The Admissions Committee will review each applicant's file when it is complete
and notify parents by February 15 of its decision. Applicants whose files
are not complete by February 15 will be notified when their files are complete
and places become open

FINANCIAL AID
The deadline for Financial Aid applications for the 2006-07 school year is
April 1, 2006. After this date, applications are considered as scholarship
funds permit. Financial aid is granted on the basis of need, which is determined
by the FACTS Tuition Aid Service.
St. Francis School has a merit scholarship for the children of university
faculty. The scholarship provides a 50% tuition reduction, and is awarded
to 20 qualified students whose parents are full-time teaching faculty at Kentuckiana
Metroversity institutions or the University of Kentucky.
The deadline for applications is February 15, 2006. Forms for the scholarship
can be downloaded from the St. Francis web site. Students must be entering
kindergarten through eighth grade in the 2006-2007 academic year. Recipients
will be announced by March 1.
The teaching faculty at the Goshen Campus consists of 35 women and 10 men,
holding 33 advanced degrees. Instructional ratios are 8:1 for Lower School
(JK-4) and 13:1 for Middle School.
One third of St. Francis teachers have served on the faculty for 15 or more
years.
Teachers coach in the classroom as well as on the athletic fields.
Teachers engage in an on-going process of professional development.
St. Francis School is fully accredited by the Independent Schools Association
of the Central States, and is a member of the following organizations:
